About YIRRA

YIRRA was established in 2025 with a clear purpose — to provide culturally safe, reliable, and person-centred Support Coordination and Support Work services to communities that have too often been overlooked.

Founded with a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Regional and Remote NSW, YIRRA was created to bridge the gap between the NDIS and the individuals and families who need guidance navigating it. We recognised the importance of delivering services that are not only professional and effective, but grounded in respect, cultural understanding, and genuine connection.

YIRRA Coordination is proudly Aboriginal owned and led. Our team is built on strong cultural foundations, lived experience, and a deep commitment to supporting our communities with integrity and respect.

As we begin our journey, we are focused on building a dedicated team of passionate Support Coordinators and Support Workers who share our vision for culturally safe, person-centred care. We understand the importance of trust, connection, and community, and we strive to ensure every participant feels heard, valued, and supported.

We work closely with communities to ensure individuals and families have the information, tools, and confidence needed to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

That’s why we focus on breaking down the system into clear, practical guidance through personalised Support Coordination and hands-on Support Work.
